CHIEM Rally, officially the China Hainan International E-Mobile Rally, is a motorsport championship for electric cars, endorsed by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, Hainan Provincial Government, and Federation of Automobile Sports of the People's Republic of China (FASC).
Since its inauguration in 2018, CHIEM Rally has become a motor racing and outdoor adventure, combined with the latest electric vehicle technology and natural beauty of mountain, sea, island, and rivers.
Competing electric vehicles include local and international top brands: Tesla, Polestar, BYD, Chery, GAC, Hozon, Skyworth, Beijing Auto, Changan Auto, Dongfeng Auto, Zhengzhou Nissan, WM Motor…
CHIEM Rally is an annual event held on Hainan Island over 5 days in December each year, covering 900 km.
The CHIEM Rally Championship is open to the public. with participants from professional racing drivers to motoring enthusiasts competing for top prizes.
